About

A decade of bagels, taught from a home kitchen

Portrait of Andrew Littlefield

I'm Andrew, and I've been making bagels for about ten years: commercial yeast, a three-day cold ferment, a boil before the bake, strong flour and a deep mahogany crust. I teach the reasons behind each step so home bakers can fix what went wrong and repeat what went right.
